Security Deposit

If you are opting not to pay by Direct Debit or Pay as You Go, you will be required to pay a security deposit of £150.

This amount will be repaid to you by Budget Energy within one month. If you change your mind and decide to pay by direct debit or have a prepayment meter installed, and there is no outstanding balance on your account, then we will refund this deposit to you within 28 days. 

After 1 year, if you have paid all your bills in full and on time (within 28 days of each bill), your security deposit will be repaid within 28 days.
