Tariff Information

Your current Tariff. Unit Price (Including VAT) and Daily standing Charge (Including VAT)
(E) - This shows how we’ve calculated your usage:
Previous reading and current reading – The numbers on your meter at the start and end of the billing period.

  • A = actual reading
  • E = estimated
  • SC = supplier provided
  • Electricity used (kWh) – The difference between the two readings shows how many units (kilowatt hours) you’ve used.

Your Tariff and Unit Rates

This explains the rate you pay for electricity:

  • Tariff name – The plan you’re on (e.g., Budget Energy Standard or Variable Tariff).
  • Unit rate (pence per kWh) – The cost for each unit of electricity you use.
  • Standing charge – A daily fixed cost that covers maintaining your electricity connection and meter.
  • Together, these make up your total electricity charge for the period.
